Download

The demo version is right here, ready to download. The licensed installer comes from the customer panel, because the file is matched to your licence: the package holds exactly the modules you bought and nothing besides.

Download it and see how it works

This is the same program a customer gets, with a sample builders’ merchant inside. Log in with any username and password. Nothing is written to disk: closing the program erases everything you did in it.

Stanio is desktop software. Download it on a laptop or on the office computer.

  • Products, customers and stock levels — filled in and ready to click through
  • Issue an invoice, ring up a sale and watch the stock go down
  • Scales, scanner and weighbridge ticket — with a simulator or with real hardware
  • A contactless card: one tap locks the workstation, the next one unlocks it
  • All eight modules unlocked, no licence and no account with us

Rather not install anything? The same demo runs in your browser. https://demo.stanio.pl

Where to get it

Sign in to the customer panel with your licence number and activation key, or with your e-mail and password. There you will see the state of your licence, release a workstation after replacing a computer, and download the installer for your system.

Systems

Windows 10 and 11

An NSIS installer, 64-bit. The program installs for the current user.

Linux

An AppImage — a single file, no installation. Just make it executable.

macOS

The demo version comes as a disk image. The system will ask the first time — open it from the context menu (“Open”), not by double-clicking.

What the computer needs

  • An ordinary office computer — the program runs smoothly on 2016 hardware
  • 4 GB of memory is enough; with a very large catalogue 8 GB is more comfortable
  • Disk space grows with history: fifty thousand products and ten million movements come to about half a gigabyte
  • Internet only for activation, updates, e-invoicing and branches — selling works without it
  • No database server to install

What Windows says the first time you run it

A SmartScreen warning. Windows shows one for every program it does not know yet, whatever is inside it. Click “More info”, then “Run anyway” — that is all.

Every release ships with a digitally signed description of the file including its checksum, and the program verifies that checksum after downloading and deletes a file that does not match. So you can be sure you got exactly what we published.

Updates

The program checks for a new version itself, downloads it and verifies the checksum. A person starts the installer — the program does not replace itself in the middle of a working day.
