Deployment

Without your own product records the program is empty, and an empty program cannot be judged. That is why deployment starts with the price list rather than with training — and why the price list loads from a file instead of being retyped over a week.

Five steps from a file to the first invoice

  1. Install and activate

You download the installer from the customer panel and run it like any other program. On first start you enter the activation key you received when buying. The licence is checked once, and after that the program works offline too.

  2. Load products and customers

Two CSV files out of your spreadsheet. For each one you first see a preview: how many rows will go in, which were rejected and why. An unknown unit stops its own row rather than defaulting to “pcs” — that would produce a wrong price on every sale afterwards.

  3. Fill in your company details

Name, tax number, address, bank and the document footer. This is the seller printed on every invoice, so the program keeps reminding you on the dashboard while the field is empty.

  4. Create accounts

The owner account is created on first start; you add the rest. A cashier signs in with a PIN, a manager with a password. With three people, permissions granted directly are enough; with thirty you switch to groups.

  5. Add a second till

The second till activates with the same key and gets its own workstation number. Tills find each other on the local network by themselves — no addresses to type. The first exchange carries over the whole catalogue and history.

Who this is for

Builders’ merchant and fuel yard

Goods by the tonne and by the sack, a weighbridge at the gate, sales both for cash and on credit. A weighbridge ticket is built from two weighings half an hour apart.

Wholesaler

A catalogue of several thousand items, invoices with payment terms, receivables and credit limits. The supplier’s price list arrives every quarter and goes in as one file.

Workshop and hire counter

Services alongside goods, equipment hired by the day with an availability calendar, handover and return notes, and your own fleet with inspection dates.

More than one location

Tills in one building find each other on the local network. A branch in another town needs neither a fixed IP address nor an open port on the router: changes travel through our relay in an encrypted envelope that we cannot open. Every branch works on the full data set, so a dropped line does not stop selling — it only pauses the exchange.

What happens when the disk dies

The program makes a backup on start and on shutdown, and you can make your own before a stocktake or a price change. A backup carried out on a USB stick brings the key with it, wrapped in the recovery code — the one the program shows once, when the database is created, and tells you to write down on paper. With that paper and that stick, a new computer becomes the same installation as the old one. Without the paper, not even we can open that backup.

How long will it take for you

It depends on how many items are in your price list and how many workstations you have. Write to us and we will reply with a timeline and a price.
